Hi everyone, I am Jennifer and welcome to my blog! 👋
In this blog post, I'll talk about a recent road trip I took with some friends. This blog post will also include photos and videos from our trip.
During our semester break a few months ago, my friends and I decided to embark on a short and adventurous road trip to a few states in Malaysia. This is the first trip where all of us stayed at the same Airbnb for three days and two nights.
When we arrived in Penang on a hot and sunny day, the first thing we did was get something sweet and refreshing. We went to a well-known shop in Georgetown, Penang, that sells soft serve ice cream with fresh fruits and had gone viral on Twitter just before our trip.
The shop's name is "Fruitmade", and it offers a variety of fruits to choose from, along with soft serve ice cream.
This is their Dragonfruit and Lemon Soft Serve Ice Cream.
This is another flavour on their menu.
The "Funky Monkey'' is a combination of Chocolate and Banana Soft Serve Ice Cream.
We then went to a famous Penang cafe called "Nasi 7 Benua Koo Boo Cafe" and ate seven different kinds of rice. The flavours were delicious, but most of us couldn't finish the dish because there was too much rice on our plates.
Later, we visited "Potterhead Malaysia," a Harry Potter-themed cafe in Georgetown, Penang.
We were excited to try the famous "Harry Potter Butterbeer", and to our surprise, the Butterbeer was really delicious, and we would definitely return for more!
The ''Ghost Museum Penang'' was the next stop on our itinerary.
We were hesitant to enter the museum because we thought there was nothing special to see. But, thankfully, we agreed to participate because it was a fun experience for us!
It was a very fun and interesting experience because they had a variety of ghost-themed rooms for us to explore.
This is a video of their Zombie-themed room. This room was intriguing and exciting to see because the props appeared to be real, and we were terrified! 👻
Another intriguing room is the Halloween-themed room, which had a pretty cool vibe to it! My friends and I had a great time taking photos in this room, despite the fact that it was difficult to get good lighting.
This is a really cool video portrait on screen that changes the appearance of the characters in the picture.
Another interesting place we visited was the "Wonder Food Museum" in Penang.
Because my friends and I are food lovers, we thought it would be fun to see our favourite local dishes displayed oversized!
Supersized Cendol! Yummy!!
We wished we could try this colossal Durian! 😄
Can't get enough of Roti Canai!
And our favourite Laksa! 😍
Because my friends and I love food hunting, we also visited several famous food stops that were recommended to us, such as "Hameed Pata Special Mee Sotong" and "Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul".

We spent the night at the "Penang Avatar Secret Garden" in Tanjung Bungah, Penang.
The place is especially lovely at night, when everything is illuminated.
These are images of the tree-like fantasy lights that surround you, as well as the garden of lit flowers.
The scenery was breathtaking, and we had a great time just wandering around and relaxing.
On our way back to Kuala Lumpur, we stopped in Ipoh, Perak, to explore the famous "Concubine Lane" and "Bits and Bots," which sells flavoured ice balls.
Delicious Ice ball!
This concludes my first ever road trip with my friends!
Although we only visited a few places in Malaysia, it was a truly enjoyable journey; what matters is the people you're with and the memories you've made together. 😊
Lastly, do Visit Malaysia 2020 for more exciting adventures throughout Malaysia!
